A celebrated chef turned cannabis entrepreneur and executive, Jaime Lewis boasts more than a decade of experience launching and leading vertically integrated operations, business development ventures, and infused-product manufacturing in cannabis markets around the country.
Jaime is the Managing Partner of Coldwater Consulting, which provides experience-driven licensing, startup and operations consulting for cannabis businesses nationwide. Jaime is also founder and executive chef at Mountain Medicine, an award-winning medical and recreational cannabis edibles producer in Colorado, where she oversees strategic planning, business expansion and product research and development to provide patients with artisanal, hand-crafted edibles of unparalleled quality, consistency, and flavor.
Jaime is committed educator and advocate who has worked with consumers, communities, regulators, and industry groups to promote consumer education, practicable regulation, and sustainable business practices. She’s a founding member of the Cannabis Business Alliance, an influential trade group that functions as the Colorado industry’s chamber of commerce, and serves on the Board of Directors of the National Cannabis Industry Association, where she functions as a national spokesperson for the regulated cannabis industry. She also served as a member of Massachusetts’ Cannabis Advisory Board, the organization tasked with developing marijuana regulations for the state.
Henry Wykowski is recognized as one of the most respected cannabis attorneys in the country, and widely considered the counsel of choice for the most significant challenges facing the industry. Henry has served as lead counsel in many significant cases facing the cannabis industry, including major Tax Court litigation related to IRC Section 280E, and the Harborside and BPG forfeiture cases filed by the federal government. His firm advises on the navigation of the conflict between federal and state law, the formation of entities, real estate matters, state, county and local regulation, current industry trends and financing. He serves as outside general counsel for many of the most prominent leaders in the industry, including the National Cannabis Industry Association, the nation’s only trade group, the California Cannabis Industry Association, and the National Cannabis Bar Association. Henry is a formers assistant United States Attorney, and Department of Justice trial Attorney, where he was the chief prosecutor for the DOJ’s tax evasion division for many years.
Chris Wood, as a principle attorney at Wykowski Law, is at the forefront of taxation and corporate law matters facing the cannabis industry. Chris has served as counsel in some of the industry’s most important deals, including numerous mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, IP transactions, and corporate governance issues. He is the managing attorney for Wykowski Law’s transactional and corporate practice group, and in that capacity, acts as outside general counsel to many of the largest dispensaries, edible and extraction companies, and cultivators throughout California and the country. He additionally serves as outside counsel to many privately held and publicly traded cannabis companies. Chris earned his BA from UC Berkeley, Phi Beta Kappa, and his law degree (cum laude) from UC Hastings.
